This close up photo of the Orion Nebula was taken by NASA with the Hubble Orbiting Space Telescope and I have enhanced it. Nebulae are giant clouds of gas and dust 10 - 100 light years across. They are the birthplace of new stars. They may contain thousands of new stars. These stars generate tremendous amounts of bright light, which illuminates these nebulae to create incredible beauty. They make great art!
